Furz Mobile Veterinary Clinic understands that animals feel the most comfortable at home, with their familiar scents, toys, and their families. Being examined or having simple procedures done can be worrisome enough for our beloved pets. Compounding that with a new environment, and other strangers around, can make things even more uncomfortable. Furz solves these issues by bringing top tier veterinary care to your home. Our goal is convenience for you, and a calm, relaxed experience for your pets.
There's No Place like Home
Working in the home can be very beneficial to the owner, and the pets they love, but there are considerable limitations with the home environment. At Furz Mobile Veterinary Clinic we are here to meet your day-to-day wellness and preventative care needs. We choose not to do mobile surgeries, dental cleanings, or invasive procedures for major illnesses or emergencies, because we know that these are best performed where the patient can be closely monitored in a controlled environment. Monitoring the animal prior to, and for hours after, the procedure is just not possible during our 1-2 hour visits. But fear not. We can do wellness exams, refill (most) medications, initiate pain management (if appropriate), discuss dietary needs, trim nails, express anal glands, write travel certificates, discuss training and behavior, and much much more.
